Lorna Moylan

Lorna has a strong interest in multi-media and graphic design and is a former graduate of the B.Ed. Programme here at MIC.
Lorna joined the unit in May of last year after working in the Digital Marketing Industry. She is a former graduate of the B.Ed. Programme here at MIC and having a worked as a teacher in the Gaeltacht for a number of years, she developed an interest in the development of digital resources through the medium of Irish. Lorna went on to complete a Masters in Digital Media in NUI Galway, which included the development of a digital learning-support tool through the medium of Gaeilge.
She has a strong interest in multi-media and graphic design and is currently contracted to the Research Expertise Exchange or REX project. Funded by the National Forum, the REX project is being developed in partnership between Mary Immaculate College, University of Limerick and NUI Galway, with MIC as lead partner. REX is a collaborative online space for pre-service teacher researchers, in-service teacher researchers and higher education researchers.
